I know there aren't a lot of people from the same world as I am, here -- but there are some that are close enough. For those who don't know, today -- November 11, is Armistice Day. It's a day to honor those who fought and died for their country, or their adopted countries, in some cases.

Personally, I think they -- we -- deserve more than one day a year, but it's still important. So I just wanted to say..remember, even here, even if you're not from my world. It's appreciated.

The life of a soldier isn't glamorous. I can understand when civilians don't work very hard to keep it in mind.

Oh, trust me, I know. [A pause.] It's been a long time since there's been --a war that affects the entire world, at home. S'pose they've just gotten used to it.

The entire world?

[That sounds...excessive.]

[He sounds grim.] Most of it, yeah. It wasn't pretty.

No, I'd imagine not.

But it was a long time ago, like I said. Ended in 1945.

The past for you, the future for me. Or at least in my world. It's only 1915. Hopefully we will never see such an event.

[Father and the Homunculi are more than enough.]

Let's hope not. [A pause.] There was one before that, too -- during that time, actually. Started in 1914. [And he fought in both of them, but he's not saying that just yet.]

Definitely not from the same world, then. We're not going through a war encompassing the entire world right now, thankfully.

[Just a corrupt government and supernatural forces. No big.]

I'll just hope you never do, then.

Yes. Of course, it depends on humanity. We don't have the best track record.

Maybe not, but I like us anyway. Mostly.
