[The only thing that shows up on Jack's comm is a location, coordinates leading to an area in the Wastes that was, until recently, home to a group of sandworms. If someone investigates said coordinates, they will find the body of one Jack Harkness, covered with a very familiar coat. His clothes are in a pile nearby, along with a shirt that is very definitely not Jack's. Please, someone come keep him company while he wakes up.]

[ It's a relief when Jack finally does come back with his usual gasp. Ianto tries to stay with Jack when he can, but he can't help but worry that it would be different here. But it isn't, apparently.

And also, he can't feel his legs at this point. He smiles, though - clasping Jack's hand and giving it a squeeze. ]

Hi, yourself. [ He doesn't mention the state he found Jack in, or ask what happened. If he wanted to tell him, though he would. Ianto holds up the clothes. ]

I think these belong to you.

[He has the good grace to look mildly sheepish, and takes the shirt from Ianto with his free hand.]

Glad you found them. Though I don't mind the idea of walking back home wearing nothing but my coat.

[The Doctor had been bored when the coordinates had showed up, so naturally he'd followed it. What he'd found, however, had not been at all what he'd expected.]

Oh.

[And Jack quirks an eyebrow at the new voice, and turns.]

What, is it a party now?

I got mysterious coordinates. I couldn't resist.

...would you prefer me to go? [Because, uh, he can do that.]

Oh, please, you've seen me naked before.

[ Clears throat. ] Are we alright to get out of here now, or are we waiting for more?

We can go. [Though he's looking around a bit, frowning -- but he starts to get dressed, anyway.]

Hmn.

[Just kind of clears his throat awkwardly, shoving his hands in his pockets and looking away.]

[He rolls his eyes and pulls his trousers on, standing a tad unsteadily, and then moves to grab the abandoned shirt.] Right, then.

[ Ianto is glancing around, for anything that may come out at them. Just in case. Automatically, he places a steadying hand on Jack's arm. ] Careful.

What was it this time, Captain? [There's sort of a dull amusement in his voice.]

Oh, you'd just give me that look if I told you, Doctor.

[He's grinning at Ianto, though, and catches Ianto's hand to pull himself up, stuffing Thomas' shirt in his pocket. He'll give it back later.]

Well, are we going to look around out here, or go home?

[ Ianto keeps his hand in Jack's, even though the Doctor is there. He nods, looking from one to the other. ] As much as I'm enjoying the wonderful scenery, I'm all for getting out of here.

Anddddd...you're Ianto? [It's not too hard to guess; Jack wouldn't stop talking about the man on the way home from the Valiant.]

If you don't mind, I've heard you have a very nice place, so I'll tag along for a bit.

[So he's a little smitten. So what. You've done so much worse with Rose, Doctor. :|]

--Oh, right. Yeah, this is Ianto. [He gestures to the Doctor, then, and nods.] Ianto, the Doctor. Since I don't think you've ever properly met, really.

Oh, has Sarah Jane been talking about it?

'Lo. [He offers Ianto a small smile.] Not...properly, no.

Yes, actually. She insisted I come see it some time.

You're the Doctor? Hi. I don't believe we have met, no. [ Quick nod and a small smile. And finally starts walking. ]

[Obviously Jack will be following along with him, then, with a glance back at the Doctor.]

C'mon, then, you can meet Yvonne, too.

Yvonne? [Of course he's following.]

Yvonne would be our little Rose Goblin. Jack found her. Prickly little thing, but she's cute.

Don't have to buy cat food, either, she eats soil.

...Don't tell me you speak Rose Goblin, too, Doctor.

Weeeeellll, sort of. I'm not fluent.

But where did you find a Rose Goblin?

[ That gets a look! ] You speak what now?

I found her here, she was trying to eat my trousers. [He squeezes Ianto's hand cheerfully.]

Apparently he speaks cat, too.
