[Someone has been having fun catching up on his PCD, in between his hunts for a domicile for team Torchwood. He's currently somewhere in the city, on another one of those searches.]

If it's not life under the sea, it's people disappearing and rainbow sheep, huh? It's enough to make a guy want a drink. If this were Cardiff, I'd be well-stocked.

But as it is, I've no idea where or if alcohol exists here, but I sure hope it does. Who wants to join me, or at least point me towards some? Drinks sound perfect right about now. So does a hypervodka, to be honest.

-=There's a small pause. Most people didn't invite him to come along for obvious reasons. But then he bows his head.=-

[Oh, please, Jack fully appreciates shirtless people, creatures, what-have-you.]

Well met. Where are you, now? We can walk together?

I'm just here. (x,y) [And this is a slightly charming smile.] I'd like that. I need to meet more people around here, if they're all as good-looking as you.

-=he smiles right back. Usually humans aren't so flirtatious with him. So he doesn't know if it's genuine or a ruse, yet.=-

I am honored. I will be there soon.

-=It's about twenty minutes, but Hawke arrives to where Jack is. Like in the video feed, he's nude from the waist up, with a waist cloth that ended around his knees. There was a shoulder bag that was over one shoulder and from it hung a black obsidian knife.=-

It is Hawke.

[Jack is not your typical human. Not even human, really, anymore, but that's beside the point. He gives Hawke an approving look and a smile.]

I figured, you're the only shirtless blond I've seen around. Shall we go?

I would be the only one. -=There's a smile from him. A little shy, but mostly because he doesn't quite get this sort of attention from another.=-

It is this way. -=He's extra polite as he motions in the correct direction.=- I do not know if there is any drink there. Others could have finished it before.

Pity, shirtless is a good look on anyone, generally.

[Jack nods and starts following him.] Even if there's not, it'll be good to know about in future, I suppose.

It is easier to move. And to fight when needed. -=There's a quirky smile to his face.=-

-=Hawke continues walking, humming slightly in response.=- Sometimes, things appear here. Sometimes those things are useful. Sometimes they are rotten. It is possible that more will come in the future.

This is very true.

[Jack nods again, looking around.] I hope so. It'd be handy.

There was more in the past. When I was new here. It is less so, now. -=So much less so that he doesn't really remember the last compression attempt.=-

Well, I'm sure most people have drunk it all by now.

-=They're getting close to the casino now!=-

That is what one would think. But somehow, it never empties. From what I could see. Many people come by here to drink. I see it on the machines. I do not see disappointment that they did not find any.

-=Curious, isn't it?=-

Hmm. That is odd. Something to look into.

-=He opens the door to let Jack inside.=-

I have learned that many times the reason why humans seek out the drink is because they are upset. You do not seem upset.

[Jack gives him a little nod of thanks.]

I'm not, I'd just like a drink. What about you?

-=There's a smirk from him.=-

It takes much drink to affect me. I do not indulge much.

-=The interior of the casino is dark, dank, and a ghost of it's former self. But it's not bad, considering the conditions of other buildings.=-

Me, too, but it's nice to have one every once in a while.

[He looks around speculatively.] I've seen worse. Never actually looked in here before.

-=Heads over to the 'bar' area and starts looking for bottles.=-

It was nicer when people lived here. A man used to live here who's hair grew up.

[Jack joins him after a moment or two of poking around.]

Up? Like, straight up?

Yes. -=He motions with his hand, straight up over his head.=- Ah! A bottle. -=is it worth something to Jack? Hawke has no clue as he hands it over.=-

Well, that's not something you see every day. [He takes the bottle and peers at it thoughtfully.]

What do you think's in here?

-=He looks up to Jack.=-

Drink? I do not have the tool to open the bottle.

I suppose we could always break it, because I don't have one, either.

Mayhaps there is something here? This is a bar, yes?
